On 16 January 2026, we celebrated a new milestone with the production launch of our Thailand Chest Freezer Plant in Chonburi. The very first freezer rolled off the production line, marking a pivotal step into the plant’s full operational phase and reinforcing our global manufacturing footprint.
The ceremony brought together our top management, distinguished guests from local authorities, the land owner, and the construction partner, all witnessing this important achievement.
With the production launch of our chest freezer plant, following the groundbreaking of the refrigerator plant in September 2025, our Thailand production hub is steadily taking shape. Together, these milestones mark a new chapter in our global industrial expansion, laying a strong foundation for long-term competitiveness and operational excellence.
Spanning 26,000 square metres, the freezer plant specialises in chest freezer production with an annual capacity of 600,000 units, strengthening our manufacturing capabilities and global market presence.
Staffed by 800 skilled employees, including experienced teams seconded from our China headquarters to support a smooth start-up, the site is developed as a digital, smart factory fully synchronised with our global production network. This enables stable production and consistent product quality from the outset.
During the ceremony, the first chest freezer produced at the plant was unveiled, followed by a tour of the state-of-the-art production line and an overview of our production standards and operational excellence.
